I was listening to Floss Weekly this weekend https://player.fm/series/floss-weekly-video-lo-1311254/floss-weekly-565-weaviate  and immediately began looking for similarities to TW when the guy described Weaviate as being "not a traditional database", which I often hear TW described as.

Here's a shorter youtube description: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOUtWj2szOM

I imagine that one day there may possibly be some sort of plugin connecting TW to this, but not being a computer professional I really have no clue if this would work with TW in any way.

My laypersons impression is that perhaps one could (somehow) have a TW front end gathering bits of information slowly over time (e.g. research situation), and through some connection to a weaviate instance  (VM server running somewhere?) meaningful relations to the data you're accumulating could arise??

I only have a very vague impression that TWers may find this useful, but I thought I'd pass it on here anyway.

Dave,

Thanks for sharing. I believe there are others offering similar services because this seems to follow the big data model of importing data into a machine learning environment. The older term was data warehouse. Jeremy has placed tiddlywiki on top of AWS (Amazon Web Services) which has numerous big data and so called AI as well, perhaps that offers another approach to this.

When you take away the big data I see no reason why Tiddlywiki can not have similar algorithiums implemented in it.

As you suggest layperson or not I don't see any problem with your TW as a front end idea.

Regards
Tony
