Hello community,

In recent posts here I noticed that some people import reference information in their starter wiki editions in order to learn or look up how things work.

This was the last push I needed to set up a new plugin containing the compact/short reference I (partially) missed when I started. I also intend to use—and maybe expand—it later for testing purposes in my different designs.

As I stated elsewhere, I think plugins are a great way to add information to wikis, so I made it a plugin first and called it Wikitext Markup Reference WMR. It is not very polished, but rather efficient I think.

While testing the plugin a bit, I noticed that my simple filter examples do not work for shadow tiddlers – and all tiddlers in a plugin are shadow tiddlers. Always. So if you want to see the results for filter examples, you will also have to import the example tiddlers separately from the plugin. So now there are bundles too, you can choose what you want to import from my plugin page https://tid.li/tw5/plugins.html
And as always: Make a back-up first!

Let me know if you find bugs or see potential for optimisations!

All the best,
Thomas

Many thanks Thomas!

It is like cheat sheet and is always needed in any wiki for quick reference!

Cheers

Ciao Thomas. Looking good and useful. It adds a bit to Tobias docs too.

Comments ...

1 - Parts of the https: page are insecure. Likely not important but note FF does indicate bits are insecure.

2 - One thing that might be interesting is a "print version"? A compact double sided A4 Layout? As a crib sheet its very useful. Having a compact printable version could be good?

Just thoughts,
Josiah

Hi Josiah,

Thanks for your comments!

1) is fixed.

2) at the moment, printing to a PDF produces 24 pages – I woudn’t know how to bring that down to two pages.

Buonaserata,
Thomas
