How to prevent TiddlyWiki creating Tiddlers from compound proper nouns.

Hi there!

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.

How can I prevent TiddlyWiki from trying to create a Tiddler whenever I type out a compound proper noun (e.g. JonTronShow, or PepsiCola).

Hi Jo,

in the $:/ControlPanel Settings tab in the "Camel Case Wiki Links" section, clear the

checkbox labeled "Enable automatic CamelCase linking".  Note that this setting "requires reload to take effect", so you need to *save your document* (to retain the updated checkbox state) and then reload.  Once reloaded, you should no longer see any automatic WikiWord linking behavior.

Hi Eric,

Many thanks for lending an ear. Unfortunately in my $:/ControlPanel tab there is no "Camel Case Wiki Links" section. Indeed, I can't find any reference to 'Camel Case' when using the advanced search in either System or Shadows. Perhaps we're using different versions?

However I have since discovered that you can precede the word with a '~' to prevent such a word being recognised as a link, and I'm content to use that solution.

Hi Jo, the "Camel Case Wiki Links" section of the Settings tab in the Control Panel, which Eric was talking about, is only available from the latest version of TW5, which is the v5.1.10 release. You can upgrade to the latest TW5 here.

Thank you very much for the info! I wasn't actually aware that you could upgrade TiddlyWiki like that. 

I have just done so, and activated the setting Eric mentioned.
