* New Tiddler
* I type a title, and whenI type the test a message

Well, this is embarrassing. It is recommended that you restart TiddlyWiki by refreshing your browser

When I disable the editor toolbar, it's ok.

(IMO) you can change the name of the file but not its extension (.html).

What operating system are you using, and how is the HTA running?

When I tried it under Windows vsn 7, I get a standard security warning asking me if I'm sure I want to run the code. Then it runs it in a separate window by itself, that appears to be using the Microsoft HTML Application host (not the browser I usually use). The editor bar seems to work fine. I don't know if this is normal, but it was able to save without any special plugins.

Good luck,
Mark

That's the expected behaviour. Just did a test with empty.hta and index.hta (full tiddlywiki.com content). Both seem to work fine with "win10 pro"

I'm in win seven and there's the same problem with the 'full edition'.

You don't think it's a bug?

Thanks world for your answer.

I love TW.!

Is it running using the Microsoft HTML Application host, or some other browser?

If you want to run dangerously, you might try running MSHTA as administrator.

Good luck,
Mark

There definitely is a problem, if it doesn't work for you. ... But different systems / configurations sometimes behave differently.

So do you have the same problem with "empty.html" renamed to "empty.hta" ??

Yes. I have the same problem with "empty.html" renamed to "empty.hta" on win7 and win8.

For people who don't know hta, search 'hta' in tiddlywiki.com.
I think it's the best way to use TW in an unknow PC without install third part.
