Livenote: an experimental plane text notebook

Tiddlywiki wonderland!

This is to show how Tiddlywiki can be used for live note taking!
By livenote I mean to just write and no further action required!

This can be used in a normal Tiddlywiki!

This just an experiment!

Hmmm,

Interesting, but it seems there is an issue.

If I open a new journal, it creates a title from: 26th October 2019 ...

but it edits the note: note/2019-10-26-1914

There seems to be something wrong.

I can only create 1 note, that contain the "old" content from your "Live Note" tiddler. If I rename the journal and create a new one, it doesn't do anything.

You have to rename the note and change the note/.... in the macro. I'm sure it's a temp thing.

It appears that -1914 is hard-wired into the code, somehow.

Looks potentially nice for when you only need plaintext!

As Mark said, this is an experiment! just a proof of concept!

Some use cases:

1. a new button can be added to create tiddler with unique name! to add new note

2. this can be used for edit mode to have a paper like edit environment

3. can be used to have one place for creating and editing notes...

It is a test. New journal button can be modified or a new button can be added to create new note!

Hi Mohammad,

What a nice idea. I played around and found that you are totally right, a button can be created for a new note. It looks nice and works well.

Strangely enough I tried something around the same lines two years ago, but among other things found it hard to get the text fit the lines ;-) AND a lot of other things I never got working well enough.

Your creativity has no end....lucky us.

This is an awesome tool. Would it be possible to customize tiddler name used for storage?

For example to use input field to specify tiddler name.

Nice!

Its an attractive way to create plain text notes. Excellent when you need to quickly jot thoughts.

Suggestion: I think its slightly spoiled by the "wrapper". I WONDER if using CSS it could be possible to shift the title into the note and hide the wrapper?
