Hi - probably another newbie question but is there any way to prevent a tiddler showing up in Drift's story river?  I have created two image tiddlers using _canonical_uri and then created a journal entry where the two image tiddlers are referenced.  Everything's working perfectly and the two images are correctly inserted into my journal entry.  However, as well as the journal entry I also have the two image tiddlers showing up in the story river.  Is there any way that they can be prevented from appearing, as they don't need to be there?

Thanks for your patience!

Rhod,

I am a little confused as to what is happening for you, because my simple answer is close these tiddlers, and they leave the story river. Or are you looking somewhere else like the open or recent tab?

Perhaps share an image if you cant find the words.

Regards
Tony

Hi Tony - in the attached image you can see what I mean.  It doesn't seem to matter which tab is open, this is what I have on the screen.  To the best of my knowledge each of those tiddlers is 'closed' in the sense that I clicked on the x for each one, and yet there they are.  The most recent entry is the journal entry I want to keep in view and the next two are the actual images (big_waterfall_1.jpeg and textures_unfinished.jpeg) which I don't.  It's quite likely that I've misunderstood something fundamental!
Thanks for your help

OK, so that is not the story river but what is displayed when there is nothing open in the river... which I believe defaults to the recent tiddlers. If you don't want images showing up here and in the Recent sidebar, make sure their names start with $:/ so that they are considered system tiddlers are hidden. You could for instance use the prefix $:/images/ for all images.

Ah, ok - apologies for the misunderstanding.  Yes, that worked!
Thanks again for your support - there will come a day when I no longer ask stupid questions! :)
