Hi,  I made the menu I always wanted http://szen.io/Navbar/

I hope you like it! Cheers Jan

The NavbarPlugin

...provides a menu for smartphones...

It is still a little work in progress but...

  • It only appears when scrolling up on mobile phones. So it is not in the way but always close.
  • It is intended to be as hackable as possible
  • Simply drag a button into the Navbar in the controlpanel and it will appear.

The content of the field $:/plugins/JJ/multimenu/navbar/settings is transcludet into the bars dropdown.

So it should be very easy to create add whatever you want:

  1. Create your content in a Tiddler (or use an existing one like a sidebar-tab for example)
  2. Create button-tiddler which will set the field "active" in $:/plugins/JJ/multimenu/navbar/settings to the tiddlers title when clicked. Only condidtion: The Tiddler has to have "Button" in its name.
  3. Drag it to the Navbar-clone in the controlpanel et voilà.

Installation:

Drag $:/plugins/JJ/multimenu to your wiki

(So far this only appears on screens >901 px. I will add left-hand Version for Desktop-Screens)

Ciao Jan

Its neat how it appears on up-scroll. Nicely minimal! There are a couple of issues on my Android phone ...

1 - the sidebar toggle is not hidden ... the save button needs some side padding ...

2 - The menu drop-down in the demo version is not formatted for mobile.

Best wishes

Hi, thanks for your feedback, I tried to solve the issues, that TT pointed out.

The design of the mobile-Open-tab is tricky. The Buttons work but without drag it is a drag to reorder the story river

I hope you like the new version better

Cheers Jan
