@Jermolene

Apropo a post in another thread; where do the standard icons in TW come from? Are they all manually designed by Jeremy? Is there an open source svg set that closely resembles it?

I'm asking so to (probably) use any such set as a "stylistic base" for icons and graphics in TWederation.

Hi Mat

Yes, all the current core icons were designed by me (apart from external things like the Twitter and GitHub icons). I use a Mac app called Sketch to design them; I’m not a great designer but it’s a way to ensure that we have reasonable consistency of things like stroke width and corner radius across the icon set. If you’re interested, I’ve attached a snapshot of the entire file where you can see the reject pile :)

Is there an open source svg set that closely resembles it?

None specifically that I’m aware of. A very good site for sourcing icons is the Noun Project:

Best wishes

Jeremy.
