Hi everyone,

I apologize in advance if this is a basic question.

I am trying to start using the server side version of TW. I already have a 3.2Mb wiki that I use with TiddlyWiki desktop and ShellFish + Quine on mobile.

I've tried to copy/paste the file in a new instance in TW but the import does not preserver the creation date of the tiddlers.
I've found this old issue #3021 on GitHub with the same problem where it was suggested to use the --load option:

I solve my problem (to move html TW to Node-TW format) by use "--load" command and there is no such problem.

Does anyone know how to use '--load' to import tiddlers from an exiting wiki (single file) to a server instance of the wiki ? I could not find this specific use in documentation.

Thank you.

Ouch! I can confirm that that bug is still outstanding. I'll look into it again.

Try something like:

tiddlywiki mywikifolder --load mywikifile.html

You'll need to have the filesystem and tiddlyweb plugins included in your wiki folder.

Best wishes

Jeremy

Thank you.

Thank you, Jeremy. It worked, I initialized a new wiki and imported the file:

tiddlywiki wiki6 --init server
tiddlywiki wiki6 --load wiki3.html
tiddlywiki wiki6 --listen

I will experiment with it in the next few days.

I appreciate you taking the time to answer. It helped a lot.
