Probably just a noob question. I've used TW classic for decades and want to move on to TW5. As I will eventually be moving TW5 onto a linux machine I decided to go the Node.js route. Installation seemed to go smoothly and I didn't notice any errors.

However, the command; tiddlywiki mynewwiki --listen
Results in an Error; Unknown command: listen

And indeed, when I try tiddlywiki --help, listen is not listed as an available command.

What am I missing?

What version of node are you using? What platform?

The listen command was implemented in 5.1.18.  previously the 'server' command was used.

That's interesting. I did a clean install directly from nodejs.org selecting v13.9.0 Current, not the LTS version. Now that I read the tiddlywiki.com site installation instructions for node.js more carefully, I see the example version given for tiddlywiki --version is 5.1.21.

On a windows machine, how can I get a more recent version of tiddlywiki?

Thanks

You could try the upgrade instructions here:

Yep, that did the trick, now I have 5.1.21, and I suspect a slew of more questions as I work my way through this "new" version of Tiddlywiki.
