I've been using the stories plugin from Dave Gifford's Stroll edition of TiddlyWiki, and I was trying to get it to work when "Sidebar layout" is set to "Fixed story, fluid sidebar".

I don't really understand how the plugin works, so I just wondered if it is possible? If it is could someone point me towards the tiddler or tiddlers that I need to edit to make this change and I'll figure it out?

Thanks in advance, si.

That should say 'Can the "Stories" plugin work with a fluid sidebar?' Apparently the new Google Groups doesn't allow you to edit posts...

The Stories plugin was specifically hobbled together for Stroll, so you're going to struggle to get it working with other layouts without doing some significant CSS tweaking. The CSS is in  $:/_sq/Stories/Stories.css and I'll warn you now that it mixes wikitext and CSS and is not easy to wrap one's head around.

The current page layout of TiddlyWiki does not lend itself well to flexible number of columns or column sizes. There is a plan to introduce an alternative flexbox based layout in the near future, at which point I will probably rewrite the plugin.

Hi Saq. That's great thank you. I'll have a play around with it regardless.
