I was wondering if anybody could direct me to a solution for the following desirable outcome:

1) A TiddlyWiki that is optimized (stripped-down) for the Android platform rendered using Chrome or Firefox

2) Intended to be used as a free-form address book or general topical database

3) where the addition of new data will not result in a hassle-creating file-saving scenario

4) A possible way to enable   "mailto:" and "tel:" link recognition

We seek a self-contained and fully portable solution to transporting principally contacts from device to device in a manner that will better minimize the ability for Google to get its hands on our data
(as compared to the fully-wired-in default Android apps)

We are intermittent on this forum and may have missed singular or combinable solutions to this need.

Anyone with thoughts?

Thanks!

Hello Qalisto,
you could start by looking at Shiraz plugin, the tutorial, specifically dynamic tables from fields which has an example of a mailto link.

I am confident a solution can be built on TiddlyWiki for this,  I would either host it somewhere on the internet with an appropriate save mechanism eg; tw-receiver (if you must use chrome/FF), or install your wiki inside one of the apps for running tiddlywikis.

I do not think much stripping down is needed, only ensuring you have mobile a handling support/theme.
