Hi experts,

Can any one advise me that whether I can split the title listing in the field into a list?

For instance:

Title listing field (this value stored in field): Category Group [[Group B]] [[Group D]]

Output:
* Category
* Group
* Group B
* Group D

Thanks.

Yes, you can. Unfortunately you will probably have to use some html lists, but nothing difficult.

This should work:

<$list filter='[list[some_field]]'>

<<currentTiddler>>

</$list>

where you replace 'some_field' with the name of the field you have the list in.

Hi Jed,

Missing !!

<$list filter='[list[!!some_field]]'>

<<currentTiddler>>

</$list>

Cheers,

Oh, yes. It won't work without that. Thanks!

Hi James,

Perhaps, the easiest would be to use the core list-links macro...

<<list-links "[list[!!some-list-field]]">>

Hi All,

It would be great if the example can be more specific. Thanks. :)

So your request has to be more specific. You did mention the content of your field (which is not useful for the response), but not the name of this field, so the answers given to you must use a non-specific field name.

However, I think (not tested), that all the filter should be:

[list{!!some-list-field}]
 instead of

[list[!!some-list-field]]

Arggh, you're right, thank you. I think it has already been said that this is counter-intuitive...
