We might confuse users (and Google) if our community properties are spread across different domains without good reason.
The technicalities of DNS and our hosting arrangements mean that tiddly.wiki cannot be a true alias of
tiddlywiki.com, it has to perform a visible redirect.
In terms of what we can do with tiddly.wiki I see the options as:
* Switch our primary domain name from
tiddlywiki.com to tiddly.wiki. I am not in favour of this because it breaks backwards compatibility
* Use tiddly.wiki as a secondary site that links/redirects to
tiddlywiki.com. Brands often use vanity domain names for campaign landing pages
Josiah and my thinking was that establishing a landing page for TiddlyWiki would be a good opportunity to try out different “marketing” messages independently of the main site.
