Ted Nelson is a brilliantly belligerent ancient seer of what corporate GUI operating systems did to us, destroying what the real potential of what the net WAS even before it even really got its feet.

TiddlyWiki is partly an antidote to those consequences, correcting some of the castration the death of the unfulfilled vision of the INTERweb caused.

Hi Josiah,

Have you tried his Project Xanadu? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Xanadu

I met their sysAdmin briefly last year and agree it's a fascinating and 'noble' project, but they have had a little over 50 years to get it working so far and it still doesn't show much sign of catching on.

Regards,
Rcihard

Ciao Richard

Dead right. I see it much more about being a constant reminder of what we need than a project that has achieved even its basic aims.

Best
