I killed my node TW while messing around with formatting changes. Now when I open it, all links are completely unresponsive, even is safe mode. I can't even export or get a list of tiddlers to try to export to a new wiki.

I don't know how to fix this other than a brute force method of creating a new node and copy and pasting the content of the .tid files into new tiddlers in the new wiki. OUCH!

Does anyone know how to recover from something like this?

I tried creating a new wiki and copying the .tid files from the old tiddlers folder but the new wiki is disabled as well.

I deleted a bunch of theme related tiddlers that started with $__ and was able to recover

When this happens to me, I go to the tiddlers directory and remove all those .tid files which I suspect to be the cause of the crash.
Its probably one of the last edited before the crash.
Then I close the browser and also the cmd window which started the node.
I then restart node from the command line and reopen the browser.

IMO You should make a backup first, before you delete stuff.
