nwjs helper downloading

Hi, I use Tiddlywiki Desktop on osx. I just noticed a process nwjs helper has downloaded about 800mb. Is this process connected to Tiddlywiki Desktop, and if so what’s it doing downloading so much?

Yes, the process "nwjs helper" is the engine that makes up TiddlyDesktop. If you look switch Activity Monitor to group processes hierarchically, you'll see that each instance of "nwjs helper" is a child process of TiddlyDesktop, which means that TiddlyDesktop triggered them.

So, the 800mb downloaded is whatever network traffic TiddlyDesktop is making; perhaps image requests?

Hey Jeremy, thanks for the quick response -- and thanks for the tip about grouping processes hierarchically. I didn't know about that -- and now I see that the instance of nwjs helper that was doing all the downloading was a child of another process, not TW Desktop at all.
