Dear All,

I cut and pasted a chunk or text from this website [1] and in my TiddlyWiki, the origin of the link appears to be added to the text

You can’t build culture and, despite the best efforts of some, the best places can’t be built – they evolve, often with little intervention from business and council leaders - See more at:http://www.bigissuenorth.com/2015/06/blog-eddy-rhead-manmodsoc/12754#sthash.WdOf4JBI.dpuf

What's going on here?
Could the behavior be copied so that a tiddler copied from a hosted TW could be pasted with an URL back to that tiddler?

Hi Alex,

Have you used TiddlyClip? It can do that and lots more stuff besides.

Regards,
Richard

In the past I have used it.... I use Chrome now... Maybe I should revisit Firefox, not used it for years (since chrome basically)

Is it something in the HTML which this website is doing?

Sounds like the website uses something like Tynt, a product that adds the attribution behaviour you describe. It's pretty unpopular!

Best wishes

Jeremy

Hi Alex,
Have you tried the chrome ad on? http://tiddlyclip.tiddlyspot.com/#Upgrade%20Instructions.
