Hello,

I've copied into my wiki a lot of (originally) plain text, for which it's important to visually preserve all the line breaks and empty lines, so inside the wiki I've set their Type into "Plain text(text/plain)".

However, for readability it'd be great to view them in non-monospace font.
  • E.g. have the Tiddler in story view look the same as in edit mode, even though the Type is still "Plain text(text/plain)".

Is there a Stylesheet, or equivalent change, that could be added to the wiki to change the font in which text/plain-type Tiddlers are viewed by default?

There is classes related to this however a quicker method is to give your text tiddlers the class field of any text tiddler and provide a named class you have defined in a tiddler which selects a non monospaced font. ie we add a local tiddler variation rather than modify it globally. However you could also make a button to add the special class to all tiddlers with the type text/plain.

That is a quick answer but I am happy to research it further, however some members know css much better.

Hey, I'd want to learn those things.

I also noticed that the quickest way is to edit Appearance > Theme Tweaks > Code font family, which works for me (for now) but probably also covers too many use-cases (e.g., now I probably have a hard time using monospace fonts as before...).

Thanks!

Teo
