Is it possible to simply attach a file [.doc ; .xlsx.odg ] to a tiddler?
If not how can I create a link of an excel sheet on my system to my TW?

I'm still fairly new to TW but so far, I have been able to incorporate a PDF into a tiddler by using the Import tool (tools tab, right of screen by default) then linking it in the tiddler that refers to it.

You can use the [ext[long path here]] link to link to your file.

It might be possible to drag and drop and create a tiddler based on your original content, but the odds are that it won't display properly. Also, adding large files directly into your TW is inadvisable because the larger the TW the slower it's performance will be.

Good luck,
Mark

Kelsang,

Keep in mind that whatever file you place in tiddlywiki you get to view it using the browser, For example PDF's which the browser can render using the PDF plugins/or feature of the browser.

For example if I place a link to an excel document in my tiddlywiki, my browser will offer to save or open the file because I use office 365 on my PC which has Microsoft applications integrated with the browser. Of Course if you have a link to an Office 365 in the cloud document, or Google Doc for that matter you can manipulate that document in the browser (if not inside Tiddlywiki)

I suggest using search in TiddlyWIki.com for more info.

Regards
Tony
