A proposal: TIDDLY-WIKI DAY. An anniversery celebrating the previous year's acheivements.

I'm serious in the sense we don't celebrate enough. TW is good. Almost as good as a bacon sandwich.

I'm putting this out as an idea. I think it could be good.

What would be the date if you were interested?

I suggest it is a date that can at least potentially coincide with the summerly meetups.

...or maybe just the opposite so there are more occasions for celebration...?

I think of the anniversary of TiddlyWiki as being Monday 20th September 2004 when I released the first version to tiddlywiki.com. I’d been playing around with it since about June that year.

I then spoke publicly about TiddlyWiki the following Wednesday at a meetup in London called Dorkbot (“people doing strange things with electricity”):

That triggered some attention which somehow cascaded, and by the end of that week there were a bunch of blog posts etc. about TiddlyWiki — and I started receiving calls from Silicon Valley, but that’s another story.
