Hi all

I am using the export page function to create static htmls of an alphabetical set of tiddlers that act like a dictionary of quotes on numerous topics.

Everything works fine. I am wondering, however, if there would be a way to insert <html><p style= "page-break-after:always; "></p></html> into the Export page code so that after exporting, when I use the browser to print the static html, the browser will treat each tiddler as a separate page to print.

Hi Dave

I haven’t tested this, but you should be able to create a tiddler tagged $:/tags/ViewTemplate, with the field “list-before” defined but left blank, and the following content:

<div style="page-break-after:always; "></div>

Good luck,

Best wishes

Jeremy.

Hi Jeremy

1. Thanks! That does what I need!
2. Is there a way to exclude the page break from the very first tiddler? (there is a blank page before the first tiddler because the page break applies to the first tiddler, too.)

Great.

Maybe move the page break to the end of each tiddler by replacing the “list-before” field with “list-after” and a blank value.

Best wishes

Jeremy

Yeah I just thought of it and was going to respond but you beat me to it. That worked great. I can live with an extra page at the end.
