Thanks for the quick response, Mohammed -which instructions i have followed to the letter, and i'm still getting the same result, in a fresh wiki (DL from
tiddlywiki.com), with Searchwikis plugin installed, the "index and export" tiddler installed on the external wiki, index created and exported to my new host wiki, index shows up as it should...
BUT then when i run "Advanced search" of external wikis on a term corresponding to tiddler in the external wiki -and i do have the pick-list of indexed wikis to click which i want to search, b/t/w- it still sends me via blind link to the external wiki. Obviously i'm doing something wrong; just can't think of what it might be.
One thing that strikes me curious is: that index tiddler-
$:/stw/index/Tiddlywiki Dotcom in this case, which is tagged $:/tags/SearchWikis , and has the additional fields for title, url and last_update -has no content in its text body. If this is supposed to serve as an index, should it not hold key fields (title, subtitle, tags, etc.) for the external wiki it references?
In any case: if anyone can posit a plausible theory of cause about what i've got wrong here, i'd sure appreciate it!
