My primary wiki has grown too large and slow (saves take 15 seconds) . I am carefully removing filtered tiddlers using the "Filter" tab in "$:/AdvancedSearch" to a JSON file. I then drag and drop this JSON file into the new (rapidly growing) wiki. Later I plan to delete tiddlers from the primary wiki.

I have noticed that I can overwrite a tiddler of the same exact title name. This worries me, since I am used to my primary wiki warning me when I am about to do this. I expect it to suggest "A tiddler with that name exists. A new name will be used!"

How do I give my new wiki this protection? (I have forgotten where I found this)

JW,

In Mario's bundler plugin it introduces the opportunity to catch overwrites on import.

However sometimes using the preview on import and designing which is the final copy is useful.

Something in the pre-release may help with the ability to prefix incoming tiddlers, if not I plan to make it.

I may recommend to give a try TW 5.1.23

It has great improved import UI and notify you for existing tiddlers.
