With TW5/Stroll I got this error: "cursive transclusion error in transclude widget" which amounts to a conflict between the sidebar and the second story river (I think). Anyone know how to solve this?
This happened when I merely clicked on $:/core/ui/PageTemplate . It didn't open, but did mess up the wiki

Forgot to mention, I am using Ubuntu 20.04. Firefox, Falkon and Chromium all display the same jumbled screens

After reboots and such I am left with a persistent (though hidden on start-up) '$:/core/ui/PageTemplate/sidebar' tiddler on the right sidestory

I think you must have your default tiddlers set up to retain story order. Re-open the sidebar, navigate to the settings. Under the info tab, basics tab, default tiddlers -- clear out the contents. Save and reload. Hopefully this will give you a clean slate to work with. You can go back into settings and reset "retain order" if that is useful. And maybe avoid the tiddler '$:/core/ui/PageTemplate/sidebar'.

I didn't have it set to retain story order. The problem with the '$:/core/ui/PageTemplate/sidebar' tiddler is that I can't get rid of it unless I use safe mode.
Anyway - turns out the problem is with 'Stories' plugin.
