[TW5] tb5 "appear" plugin not working

After installing the "appear" plugin from tb5 into a fresh empty TW5 and then importing examples Accordian Menu and Tiddler Slider, they don't seem to work.
Are there some dependencies required?

It's probably bad form to mess with another man's plugin, but if you're out there Tobias and have the time to update the install instructions, I'd be grateful.

Hi Bob,

I remember experiencing the same difficulties as you've had, when I first started using the <$appear> plugin. I created my own copy of the documentation for it here, and you're welcome to make use of it. I have a used a macro and stylesheet to generate those fake code boxes, and it requires that I escape the quotation marks / speechmarks. If you intend to make use of my examples, make sure to replace the curly quotes with straight quotes first. A simple find / replace would do it.

Hello Hegart,

Thank you for your willingness to share your documentation and code. However, it requires a level of understanding that I can't really justify acquiring at the moment, for what is mostly eye-candy. Hopefully sometime someone will make it work as a plugin.
