TW5: input narrow selection as you type?

Is there a way to have a text input box that displays a drop down list of the possibilities as you type?  

- Kind of like when you start typing in a google search and it lists the top suggestions


The difference would be that the list of possibilities would be all the items present in a specified list, say, words in a specific field, or tiddlers tagged with a certain tag.

I guess it would be like a narrowed version of the search bar that's already in TW...


Any possibilities?

Yeah, that's what Alain Dutechs brilliant text-com plugin does. See his thread.

IMO the idea to use interactive tools when editing tiddlers totally under-explored. I hope to see a lot more in this area.

Wow, thanks - that looks promising!

I'm hoping I'll be able to use it more as an autocomplete for things other than just tiddler titles (i.e. have it complete words without the [[ and ]] brackets)

- it may already have that capability.  I'll just have to play around with it and see
