TW:: May I give an arbitrarily name to shadow/system tiddler for a macro or there is some specific nomenclature?

I've made a slider macro I want to put in shadow/system tiddlers (to avoid easy search), so I gave him the name/path: " $:/art/macro/showpic " with assigned macro tag $:/tags/Macro .
Does it correct? May I
do so arbitrarily, or I must take into account a convention or special nomenclature?

Also, I'm not sure if I know a clear difference between shadow and system tiddler!?

Thanks!

P.S.
I'm still a beginner obsessed with the philosophy and possibilities of TW5, I want to have clear all! :)

There might be a preferred nomenclature, but I've seen contributors use a variety of names.

System Tiddlers (From http://tiddlywiki.com/#SystemTiddlers) :

System tiddlers are any tiddler whose title starts with $:/; such tiddlers are automatically hidden from most operations. They don't show up in lists or search results, but linking to one directly works in the usual way.

Shadow Tiddlers (From http://tiddlywiki.com/#ShadowTiddlers ) :

ShadowTiddlers are tiddlers that are loaded from within Plugins. Unlike ordinary tiddlers, they don't appear in most lists.

---

I might add that many plugins contain system tiddlers, so the tiddlers are in both categories.

Hi Gordan,

Also, I'm not sure if I know a clear difference between shadow and system tiddler!?

To add to Mark's answer, for me the most important property of a shadow tiddler is (also from http://tiddlywiki.com/#ShadowTiddlers ) :

ShadowTiddlers can be overridden with an ordinary tiddler of the same name. If that tiddler is subsequently deleted then the original shadow tiddler is automatically restored.

Cheers,

Ton

So, if I want to make an improved version of, e.g. "Advanced Search" shadow tiddler, then I would make tiddler under the same name with a different code, so that tiddler becomes valid until it is deleted On deletion, the thing returns to the old state...
Thanks, I understood ...
