System: Windows 7/8/10, using Firefox or Chrome to edit TW5 on tiddlyspot.com.

I want to make my TW available to the public to read but not edit. My TW on Tiddlyspot already has a password, but that's for edits only. I'd like to hide the contents of a tiddler (like a TODO list) from the general public. It's ok to show the link to my TODO list but I don't want them to see the actual contents of the tiddler. Is it possible to hide a tiddler or set a password on it so most people (beginners) cannot find it?

Thank you for your patience. I'm still new at TW, I'm not an advanced user, but I'm learning as I go. :)

You can check out Danielo's encryption tool:

However, it hasn't been updated in awhile, so be sure to test it a bit.

Good luck!

I use it on a daily basis, works great especially with the filter/mass encryption. However BE AWARE not to double encrypt. that is if you encrypt tidller S and then use a filter where tiddler A is included, it will encrypt it again. You can still decrypt it, but you need to remember the two passwords and use them in the correct sequence, that's not always easy.

I was about to.

But recent admin changes mean that it is no longer possible for users to close threads.

Sorry
