Leaving a TW unsaved but no Leave Page ... message

I have noticed that if I leave my TW file without saving through selecting another URL from my Bookmarks Bar (I am using Safari on a Mac) then I do not get the Leave Page... message and instead I see the requested URL and loose all unsaved changes.

Is it possible to amend this so that the Leave Page message is displayed in this case?

I now have to re-do 30 minutes of work........boring but necessary.
