image template annotation yet?

Hi,

4+ years ago I was asking if we had yet the ability to have a user draw a unique annotation over top of an unchanging image


, e.g. user draws where they're feeling pain on a body image.


Has there been any recent advances that might allow for this?

Here is a quick prototype.

As you can see the image(s) are a bit hazy. This is because in order to see through the overlaying one, it has to has to be transparent (opacity<1). I'll make a github suggestion to allow for transparent background for the editor itself. IMO it should be possible when the png image format is used.

and that's all just native, no plugin or anything, right?
