upgrading TW for Scholars problem

I tried to drag the TW5 for Scholars (5.0.15) version 0.2 by dragging it on TW5 version 5.1.9. Now the icons from the menu are missing and there are text and background color differences. How can I upgrade it correctly?

if I (newbie) may (try to) comment on Your question:

TW5 for Scholars (5.0.15) was written for the beta release 5.0.15
The following release 5.0.16 brought some changes which were not compatible with former versions. tiddlywiki.com says:

Incompatible Changes

5.0.16-beta brings more incompatible changes than any previous release. These changes are likely to break almost all plugins written for previous releases of TiddlyWiki 5, and will break many customisations.

I want to mention that the possibility of incompatible changes during the beta phase was clearly communicated to all beta-testers.
Nevertheless: some bravehearts engaged in the development of early editions, TW5 for Scholars is one of the monuments this heroism.
Some people (like your's truely) also used TW5 beta for daily use, in full awareness of the caveat for incompatibility

There is a possibility to convert incompatible beta-versions to the current versions, by opening a standalone TW in a text editor and then doing a "search-and-replace" excercise for each of the changes. I did that with my working TW5 (which was a very simple TW and had not many customizations), and believe me - it was not that funny, but that's fully ok. In case of TW5 for Scholars, I also tried a manual upgrade, because I think its a piece of geniality. But it is so heavily customized, that after many hours I capitulated, it was beyond my capabilities.

Maybe someone else has made a successful upgrade?

I don't know anything about the inner workings of TW5 for Scholars (so don't ask me ;-) ) but thought I give it a try to upgrade it to TW5.1.11.
I checked and adapted the following:
