Is it possible to back up tiddly with saved images?

I have images in most of my tiddlers. They point to a free hosting service for images.

I'm concerned what will happen if something goes wrong with the hosting service.

Is it possible to make a backup that saves the images associated with each tiddler?

Addendum, can I point the images to files local to my computer?

I'm using TiddlyDesktop with a tiddly folder local to my system.

Clarifying what you are asking. You want to place images in a folder in your hard disk and point to them from Tiddlywiki, so that images will be shown in Tiddlywiki without being actually embedded in the file? If that is the case, yes it is possible. See the following link.
