I tried

<$button>
<$action-sendmessage $message="tm-server-refresh"/>
Sync
</$button>

But it does absolutely nothing. If I understand its documentation correctly, it is supposed to accomplish this. Is it one way sync? Is there any other way short of restarting the tiddlywiki instance?

Hi Riz

The server-refresh message is only supported in the browser; it ensures that the latest changes from the server wiki are synced with the client wiki. “wiki” here means the in-memory copy of the tiddlers. It doesn’t address post-startup syncing between the server in-memory copy and the file system.

Best wishes

Jeremy
