Hi,

I'm just switching to TW5 and I find the double-spacing of the formatting to take up too much screen space. It also makes it harder to see where elements begin and end because the extra whitespace makes everything seem separate. Is there any way to shut this off so that the spacing is more like TW Classic formatting?

Example

TW Classic
This is a list:
# Item one
# Item two
# Item three

versus

TW5 Code
This is a list:

# Item one

# Item two

# Item three

I don't know if there is a tweak or an option for this that I haven't found yet, but if anybody has any ideas, they'd be greatly appreciated. The excess whitespace just doesn't feel natural to me.

Thanks,
Hiru

The key difference between TW5 and TW Classic is that 5 requires a double line break to end a paragraph; a single line break is treated like a single space.

versus

TW5 Code
This is a list:

# Item one

# Item two

# Item three

In fact, you don’t need the blank lines between the line items. The only one that is required is the blank line to terminate the first paragraph:

This is a list:

# Item one
# Item two
# Item three

Best wishes

Jeremy

Thank you, Jeremy. I tried what you mentioned and it worked just fine! :)
