Prior Work request - Has anyone seen or built a draggable day calendar?

Folks,

I was wondering if there is and Prior Work a draggable day calendar or related mechanism? 

Google Calendar and Outlook allow you to have re-occurring events on any day but they can be dragged and dropped to another time or shrunk or stretched to a different length of time. This is a great way to have a flexible yet structured day plan.

I am working on a Journal for use on desktop and mobile and would love to incorporate something like this. I am not even sure where to start so if anyone has any examples of similar implementations in tiddlywiki please let me know.
