I cannot start BobWin 1.5.0. on Windows 10 64-bits. After launching the application the IndexWiki folder is created, but no BobWin icon appears in taskbar near the clock, no server is started.

This is a known problem. I don't know what causes it and I don't have a way to test anything on windows so for the moment I can't do much other than say windows isn't supported on 1.5.0

Right.

I'm assuming you on Windows?

It's currently not working for anyone on Windows as far as I know. See this to know you are not alone: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/tiddlywiki/M2is4v1bCcs/33vzvctiBAAJ

Part of the issue is Jed, the developer, doesn't regularly use Windows and none of us Windows users get any feedback when Bob exits. So he has nothing yet to work with.

IMO, probably easiest for now to use an earlier release. It is good. Its fine IMO if Windows users have to skip a version.

Best wishes
TT

Jed, I am on MacOS and yesterday installed Bob with the Bob.command. Upon launch created the various folders, then open a new Wiki for me, which I don't want because I have my own TW file already.

Through its tiddler I thought I'd "imported" my file but did not find it. Now, when I launch Bob.command the terminal window shows it runs but it creates a new file again. There is no icon in the system tray.
