a useful plugin

Is there a plugin for following idea?
Double click at a tiddler in the sidebar opens the tiddler in edith mode.
Maybe ctrl+click would be also a good variant?

you couild clone the open sidebar, then replace tm-open tiddler with tm-edit-tiddler

then have separate sidebar which opens in edit mode

I like the Favourites plugin found here to star tiddlers http://t5a.tiddlyspot.com/#Favorites

Then I found 

$:/plugins/ajh/favorites/SideBar 

then edited it to insert before "<$link"

<$button tooltip="Edit tiddler" message="tm-edit-tiddler" >

{{$:/core/images/edit-button}}

</$button>

Now every item listed under favorites is proceeded by an edit button, and opens the tiddler for edit.

You could hack every other side bar list to do the same eg open/recent etc...

@Tony great idea, and I was reminded, that The favorites plugin had a newer version, than the one I used.

The button is directly before the link to the twiddler.

Here is a start

You can add to a stylesheet (a tiddler tagged $:/tags/Stylesheet)

.myeditbutton {
    background-color: #ffff99;
    max-width: 30px;
    border: grey
    border-radius: 5px;
    color: black;
    padding: 2px 2px;
    text-align: center;
    text-decoration: none;
    display: inline-block;
    font-size: 16px;
    margin: 1px 1px;
    cursor: pointer;
}

Adjust above as needed

And Update the Button code as follows

The border-radius: doesnt work but does not matter, i made the background-color: transparent and boder: 0px.
that looks much better now. :)
