Hi,

I am very new to Tiddlywiki, so new I can't seem to find the answer to this question.

In the Control Panel options, I see a field for "Default Tiddlers" which, in the beginning is set to "GettingStarted."

I wondered if there was a way to make a Default Tiddler based upon the Recent list?

Thanks!

Hi Mike,

Replace GettingStarted with $:/core/ui/SideBar/Recent

Cheers,

Excellent! It's kind of ugly since it shows that as the title, but that's pretty darned minor. :-) Thanks again.

Hi Mike,

You can transclude $:/core/ui/SideBar/Recent in a tiddler of your choice (e.g. with title Recent):

{{$:/core/ui/SideBar/Recent}}

I tried to do this in another TW and found that I couldn't get it to work.

When I peeked at the previous ones that did work, the "Default Tiddlers:" field only shows "Recent"

If I add the code below
{{$:/core/ui/SideBar/Recent}}

Then I get a missing Tiddler error:

Missing tiddler "{{$:/core/ui/SideBar/Recent}}"

Can someone refresh my memory?

I recalled the steps!

I didn't recall that I had to create a new Tiddler called "Recent" and include...
{{$:/core/ui/SideBar/Recent}}
...as the content.

Then I set the Default Tiddler to "Recent"
