Welcome :)
What are you gitting trying to do when this happens? TW version? Browser? Os? Plugin related?

It turns out there’s only one instance of “options.event.event” in the core source code, in the file $:/core/modules/utils/dom/modal.js.

There is a bug there that would result in exactly the error message you saw. I’ve committed a fix here:

You can try the change out at https://tiddlywiki.com/prerelease. Note that this may not fix your underlying issue, it would be helpful to know more about any plugins you’ve got installed, and exactly what action prompted the crash.

Best wishes

Jeremy.

Not really sure how to fix the issue. The worst thing is it happens on some devices and not others.

The only plugin I have is a calendar plugin. Is that the reason for “event”?

It is almost at a point where I don't trust github anymore. This happens on ios iphone, works fine on windows and chrome. Then again it does save on my ipad but I do hit save with a wince- hoping it will go through. I have projectify, previous edition of Toggle, editorautolist and a basic calendar app installed. My theme is notebook.

I would like to just move the whole thing to tiddlyhost but wonder how stable it is at this time.

Incoherent post. You explain nothing.

WHAT are you asking for?

Its a continuation of the start of this thread. I get a java error and I want to fix it so that I can save reliably on all my devices.

Hope this helps

There is an image attached to the original post.  If you view that image, it shows a javascript error message ("red screen of death") that includes the error text:

TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating 'options.event.event')

Does the error only occur while saving?  A RSOE isn't typical for github problems -- usually you get a system 503 message or something. If the error occurs when not saving, then it probably doesn't have anything to do with GH at all. Offhand, it seems to be a problem related to iPhone and one of the TW applications you're running.

You might try Jeremy's pre-release suggestion, though it will take a few minutes work to set up the new TW.
