I'm sure I'm missing something fundamental here but I can't seem to get bullet points to work.  I'm using Drift and when I'm in edit mode I select rows of text and press the 'bullet' button.  The text then looks as in screenshot 1.  However when I save the tiddler it looks like screenshot 2.  What am I doing wrong please?
Thanks
Rhod

You need an empty line break the first bullet point.

There needs to be an empty line between the non-bulleted line and the 1st bulleted line.

Thanks Saq and Reet for the super quick responses!  That has indeed sorted it but now the bullets themselves are not showing.  I'm guessing this is because of the colour scheme of 'Drift', so that they are there but invisible.  Is there an easy fix to make the bullets the same colour as the standard body text?

Thanks again

Thanks Mat - unfortunately the amount I know about html and css would fit on a post-it note - but I'll have a go.  The only thing is, where would I write these instructions, as I have no idea?
Thanks for your patience!

OK, download and drop the attached file into your wiki.

Thank you Mat,

Unfortunately that did not change anything. In fact I had tried something like it myself before.
The problem is with every wiki using the mono theme.

Hi Mat - thanks very much for doing that - really appreciate it!  However, I have imported the file into the wiki and reloaded (working from Tiddlydesktop) and it's made no difference at all.  Still no bullets...  I have checked and the file is definitely there when I search for it and I'm able to open it to edit the file (though I haven't done so yet).  Also, I just tried changing the 'appearance' in Drift's settings to a lighter style and still no bullets appearing...

Thanks again

I'm not familiar with the mono theme. Is that really a theme because it sounds like the name of a font?

Still, I think it is doable anyway. Try this new stylesheet version.

Mat,

Sorry, it did not change anything.

The link for the mono theme

Well, I'm very embarassed to say that I delved into the settings of Drift and under a heading called 'Drift Tweaks' I found this (see screenshot).  Once I ticked the box, bullet points appeared.  Apologies for the trouble I've caused! :)

Rhod,

He he he, that's a good one. I kind of remembered the question had been put before, but missed the setting too. At least now we know .....
Thank you to Mat never the less, it will be useful for other wikis. Sometimes I would like to change the bullet colour.

Aha. That's an unexpected setting. Would make more sense to not have the setting and simply use e.g definition lists instead, i.e ; and : instead of * to make such lists.
