[TW5] Sorting <<timeline>> results in ascending order?

Hi all,

I've been messing about with the <<timeline>> core macro, trying to get it to list our  Action Point  tiddlers in ascending order. Ideally, I'd also like to set a limit which is based on the dateField as well, so that I can get a result set from between two dates, for instance. Is there any way of doing this simply, or am I destined to copying $:/core/macros/timeline and modifying it, as I did a while ago for the <<tabs>> core macro?
