I know there's the TiddlyWiki site itself, but is there a printed version anywhere for those who have intermittent internet issues? Or just really like printed books?

Since the whole point is non-linear, I imagine not, but...

Thanks,
Aidan

To my best knowledge there is no printed book! nor a linear online book!
There was a project by Eric Shulman to publish a book, may be he can explain this better.

If there is a fund for that, I think there some experts here can develop one!

For offline access you can download a copy of tiddlywiki.com

Just place https://tiddlywiki.com in a tiddler, view the tiddler and r-click the link and save as.

The download will be tiddlywiki.com with its dock.

Visit here to download a copy with additional learning tools. A draft site.

Printed copies are weak compared to an interactive wiki.

You can just download the tiddlywiki.com site and use it offline.

I've tried that a couple different ways (just save as (complete page), plain html, using a tiddler as Tony suggested - save as isn't even an option from a tiddler) and no luck. Specifically, If I close tiddlers, nothing else happens, and the page is frozen. Close without saving and reopen - still frozen, and can't even scroll.

But this worked:  http://tiddlywiki.psat.com.au/learn/  and has the detail (documentation re: widgets etc.) that I wanted. Thanks Tony!

I'll add that right-clicking and saving any TW didn't work, but I was able to get it to work by ignoring the usual process and going with the TW way.

For example, i went to http://zorklike.tiddlyspot.com/ and I clicked on the usual Save button, the red checkmark.  I got everything.

Yes, clicking the circled checkmark is the way to save TW, also to your local disk. You must never use the browser features for saving the webpage.

I'm slowly learning all the particulars...  Thanks to everyone for their patience!
