I had a hunch that you would find a way to put me in the contributor's list some day. You ceased the moment!

While we are at it: Do you remember that you wanted to change the @@ block to create a classed div instead of applying the class to all child objects?
I think this would also help here as a bopland div is then simply created with

If you would like to use this code on commercial websites, products, plugins, or tools, please get in touch with me. (I'm very reasonable.)
Note that the underlying library, VexFlow, is completely open source and distributed under the MIT license.
I'm not sure if redistribution of vextab is allowed, on http://www.vexflow.com/vextab/ it says:
"VexTab is an open specification and the reference implementation is open source. It is freely available complete and uncrippled for non-commercial use.If you would like to use this code on commercial websites, products, plugins, or tools, please get in touch with me. (I'm very reasonable.)

You're right, it does present problems if we can't redistribute VexTab under the same BSD license as TiddlyWiki itself. It sounds like it would be worth talking to the author though.

Ah - sorry BJ. I mixed things up.. I was actually referring to your abc example/prrof of concept, when I asked if Rowan's Vextab macro works on Chrome...Do you say it is ok to create/publish a plugin which excludes the lib, which has to be downloaded and added to TW by the end user - to make it work offline? ( - not to conflict with the different licenses)
If I was the end user of the lib, a VexTab plugin (and TW of course) - would the differences in licenses prevent me from publishing my personal TW to the public?
Abc looks promising even though it doesn't seem to be browser agnostic.
