Hey all,

I have a "math" section of my tiddlywiki, as does my friend. This has led us to wonder how we can work together on editing this "branch" of our wikis.
  1. Can you see the "version history" of changes on a tiddler?
  2. Is there some existing method to share all tiddlers belonging to tag?
  3. Is there some way to not just share, but keep them "in sync" between multiple places? I suppose this would be difficult, as we both use one-file installations of tiddlywiki.
If none of the above exist, is there some other way the community suggests?

Thanks!
Diego

1. There's a new "SaveTrail" plugin that might do what you want. It saves a copy of changed tiddlers.
2. Since 5.1.14, you can drag a tag button from one TW onto another TW and it will attempt to import all the representative tiddlers.
3. Not for single tw files. What you could do is each tag your edited tiddlers with your own name. Then periodically drag his tiddlers to your TW (and vice versa for him).

Good luck,
Mark

Diego,

I am building a process to do something like this, using the bundler plugin however you can export a set of tiddlers found in the Advanced search as a json file. If you do not step on top of each other you could export a set of tiddlers you own to a JSON the other can import. The Rule would be at the start of work load the other persons json, at the end of work export your own json the other will import.

Regards
Tony

I am trying to set up a system for sharing internal documentation for my work, at the moment we are using TiddlyServer and a lot of wikis and we use git to share and track changes. I am getting together some node scripts that take care of pushing and pulling and tiddlyserver lets you restart the server from inside the wiki so you can see the updates that you pull.

I don't have this documented yet, I am working on that but it is going slowly,

Twederation might do this?
What happened to it? For a while it seemed like a bright shiny thing for tiddlywiki. No one mentions it now :(.
Come back twederator!

I got distracted. Also I think I reached about the end of what I can do with it as far as the technical parts go. There is still a lot that can be made with it but I have been distracted with other projects.

Hi  Jed,

I am certainly not giving up on the idea, I just don't think that the way I was going with twederation is going to get us much farther than it already has. And even with twederation it works fine, but there was almost no interest in using it (with a few notable exceptions) so I stoped.
