Hi fellow Tiddeleurs.
I made a tiny editor-toolbar-extension called Wrappit that can be used
to use snippets to souround the selection with suffix and prefix with a
dropdownmenu.
This can be usefull for coding in TW.
It comes with the ability to link the information in Tiddlywiki static.

Best wishes Jan

Jan,

Thanks for this inspirational tool, I already want to add a wappit as follows;
<$list filter="<>">

</$list>
Where `<>` is the insertion point

However I see your tiddlers are not bundled and named

$:/core/ui/EditorToolbar/wrappit

  • Which is not true as they are not $:/core/ui
Do you want some help and feedback to make this solution more general?

Regards
Tony

Hi Tony,
Thanks for your feedback!!!
Of course you are right, the name this is due to the fact that i cloned the existing edtior toolbal button and dropdown to get a fast solution...
Until I found the perfect name and icon this won't hurt.

For the list I am still meditating on what to wrap the filter or the template-content.
You can simply add your personal version to the dropdown-choice by cloning one of the tiddlers prefixed $:/wrappit/ and modifying it the way you want.

Best wishes Jan

Added to the toolmap (https://dynalist.io/d/zUP-nIWu2FFoXH-oM7L7d9DM) in the "Writing and editing - editing tools" section. Thanks Jan!

Wow. I directly made an account there to copy/backup your list. Thanks! Do you may know, if dynalist.io functionality (date/trigger etc) is planned from someone as an plugin? Or maybe it already exists?

Hello Petruschka

Dynalist / Flowy features (outliner) is what I am missing in TiddlyWiki (another thread https://groups.google.com/d/msg/tiddlywiki/5nOkc1qLIr4/IqTSi7ITAwAJ) what I decided to do is have a free account on Dynalist (that gives me everything I need) and I just Transclude the list inside a Drift  tiddler as iframe

It works for me

Hello Tony K!

I have to ask: Wouldn't it be possible to reuse/change the already existing html code from dynlist and repackage it as a plugin solution in TW5? I am not into html/css/js so please forgive my ignorance. Maybe you could share your howto iframe solution with us?

I really wish someone would get something like Dynalist into TiddlyWiki it is way above my skills. All I am missing is the outliner capabilities

for the iframe just copy paste the below in a tiddler and see how it goes..

[[link|https://dynalist.io/d/zUP-nIWu2FFoXH-oM7L7d9DM]]<br/>
<iframe src="https://dynalist.io/d/zUP-nIWu2FFoXH-oM7L7d9DM" height="600" width="800"></iframe>

BTW I am adding this as a feature in Drift soon in case you are interested

Tony

Without knowing your actual needs.

Do search this forum for outliner a few have being made over the years. Twoutliner or twoutlier comes to mind.

Tony
