Hi all,

I've just discovered Tiddlywiki and it's awesome features/ecosystem.
What a great job, congratulations and many thanks to all the developers !

I would like to use Tiddlywiki as a central platform for research and teaching notes.
Possibilities look endless but what is lacking for me is the possibility to export the tiddlers as Latex for further exploitation: like slides, articles, etc ...

I'm unable to find a plugin to export the content of the wiki or tiddlers in Latex.
Does such a plugin exist ?

Thank you very much :)
François

ps: pandoc export could be as useful.

HI François
with the nodejs version of tiddlywiki it is possible to export a tiddler as it own html page. You may then be able to use a tool to convert that to  latex. See http://tiddlywiki.com/static/Generating%2520Static%2520Sites%2520with%2520TiddlyWiki.html
cheers

Thanks BJ for your kind answer !
I will try your suggestion.

I think that pandoc can do this but I'm wondering how the citations, cross references, mathematic/equations will be converted.
But let's have a try :)

Thank you very much !

Hi

An HTML version of a single tiddler can also be generated using the 'export tiddler' button on the View Toolbar.

The header will likely need editing to point to an appropriate Latex CDN (if you're using the Katex plugin, see http://www.javascriptoo.com/katex/readme.) There are also instructions for rendering Katex to an html string -- this method might work from a standalone TW5.

A list of Katex CDN's may be found here: http://cdnjs.com/libraries/KaTeX

regards
