There are 12 languages that are written from the right to the left:
  • Arabic
  • Aramaic
  • Azeri
  • Divehi
  • Fula
  • Hebrew
  • Kurdish
  • N'ko
  • Persian
  • Rohingya
  • Syriac
  • Urdu
So, it would be great if Tiddlywiki supports the RTL and BiDi feature!

Recently Jeremy has introduced an experimental TW-5.1.22p which allows to have RTL tiddlers. This is really amazing!
I appreciate if those who are interested in RTL feature of Tiddlywiki, to help as tester or give feedback and idea on this.

Cheers
Mohammad

Just copy paste RTL text, or write text, in the title or the text and it will automatically switch to RTL

Hi Mario,

I have created a demo wiki with many tests and published on Tiddlyspot.

Amazingly the experimental RTL Tiddlywiki passes almost all tests. The tests were to reproduce all tiddlers tagged with wikitext from https://tiddlywiki.com/prerelease/

Detailed feedback can be seen here: https://github.com/Jermolene/TiddlyWiki5/pull/4541

According to these tests, it seems Tiddlywiki can be among the best html5+Js+css tools with RTL support.
It absolutely needs some modification especially in $:/themes/tiddlywiki/vanilla/base.

Best wishes
Mohammad
