Jeds bookmark plugin - modification help

This is properly mostly for @Jed.
I am trying out Jeds Bookmarks plugin[1]. it works really nice. However I would like to modify some things and I am not quite sure where to start.
1. auto tag (bug)
it is stated that the the new bookmark/tiddler will be tagged with "Bookmark" automatically. This is not the case.
It would also be nice, to be able to put other tags automatically / edit the auto tag (e.g if i want it to be "link" instead of "bookmark").
2. tag drop down
when giving a bookmark a tag in the entry form it would be nice to be presented with existing tags like when you type a tag in a regular tiddler. This way I can avoid getting tags like "tool" and "tools"
3. customize the text field
I would like to see the bookmarks info in the text filed when the tiddler is opened
Any help is appreciated.

Your suggestions fit well with what I want to do, and I haven't run into that bug but it needs to be fixed. I may need a bit of a break from twederation, so I will try to update the plug-in later today.
No promises though.

Et voila!
It is a bit weird to see someone talking about "Jeds plugin". But things should be updated nicely now. I have learned a lot about tiddlywiki since I made this plugin, sometime in the future when I am feeling more inspired I am going to change it so you can search using multiple tags in a less horrible way.

This is just cosmetics, but I changed the ViewTemplate to my liking. The table in my opinion make it a big bulky if there is only little data. and I like to see the full url (e.g. for printing).
As I sometimes put other stuff in my bookmarks tiddlers / make regular tiddlers into (also) bookmarks, this IMO makes the bookmark data more discrete.

In setting we can change the standard tag from Bookmarks to something else. But then the Bookmarks list does not work.

is it possible to let the drop down for tag-assignment show tags from the entire wiki and not only bookmarks?
I find it much more practical to use the same tags through the hole wiki and not (by accident or design) get a parallel tag structure only for bookmarks.
(Now,If I want to give my bookmark a tag used other places in the wiki I create it, open the tiddler and tag it, in order not to mix up tagnames.)

An option to show all tags would be possible, but it would take a redesign of how the bookmarks by tags list works so it may be a while before I get to it
