The TWaddler proudly presents...

the TW Admin plugin

The idea is a central administrators place, not easily accessed by the (unknowing) public, with settings to hide non-public parts of the TW. By default it comes with an extra save button so you can toggle off the sidebar and still save, but several other useful settings to "hide stuff for public eyes" are provided.

Majorly reworked.

the TW Admin plugin

If anyone installed the previous version, I'd recommend uninstalling it and going with this one instead.

Note I've also updated the post above this one to describe the current version.

Ciao Mat

Nice gadget! Simplifies making a "non-modifiable" version for public reading...

One quirk ...
The option for the "side editor" looks like this once I installed the Admin Plugin ...

But looks like this in your demo ..

I assume that is because I don't have Side Editor installed?

Best wishes
Josiah

Hi Mat,

Another very useful gift to the community, thank you ! The only thing I find a bit confusing are the default toggle buttons: they look like radio buttons, while they are functionally closer to checkboxes, don't you think?

Cheers,
Xavier.

Josiah,

yes the toggle for the SideEditor is only relevant if you have that plugin installed. I intentionally included so that people could see at least one thing that was toggled off from start and, in some sense, to provoke the user to try out some individual tweaking. Still, I do clearly say it is sample content ;-)

Great point regarding the toggle macro! I had not considered this. I have updated them to be square boxes like so: ▣ ▢
